Every time I get on the subway I think about it filling up with toxic fumes. It's not that I'm fearful of it exactly, just that it seems like something that will happen one day. I imagine everyone on board being prepared, with gas masks in hand, as foggy noxious fumes float throughout the tunnels. When the revolution we're all waiting for occurs, I imagine out of control cops (more than they are already) throwing canisters of tear gas on every whim.
