Every time I'm in an elevator I imagine it suddenly losing power and free‐falling down to the ground floor. Not that I actually want it to happen, but I think I'd like to feel a sudden and spontaneous fall like that. When I was younger I used to ride the Drop Of Doom non‐stop. I remember slowly rising to the top before a loud buzzer would go off letting you know you were about to fall. And then feeling nothing. Just falling. A total escape from time.
